What Causes Frequent Seizures,headaches And Memory Loss?
My daughter was rear ended by a woman going about 50 miles per hour in August, 2013. My daughter stated she passed out for a short period of time but was otherwise ok. On Jan 11 of this year 2015, she began having grand mall seizures, headaches and short term memory loss. There were MRI;s and CT done but no bleeding or tumors noted. The Neurologist she is now seeing stated she may have PTSD as opposed to Epilepsy as thought. After this time since the accident, is there any other testing that can be done as no functional MRI, SPECT Scan or DTI was ever done. Thank You

I really appreciate your concern, this could be due to epilepsy only, EMG is he test can be done to ruled out or for final diagnosis, if she is well responding to treatment then this is the way of treatment to and this could confirm the epilepsy, no need to be very much conscious, hope this information helps, take care.
