Bottom of my left eye feels strained hurts and feel tight. Times it Feels like it throbs. When I Look in the mirror notice that I am squinting. My eye is bloodshot. Lid feels heavy. It s been happening for about three weeks. I did rub it kind a hard one night a month ago. Any ideas? I will see an ophthalmologist if it doesn t get better in another week or two.

you rub it means itis allergic conjunctivitis. it can be blepharitis both eye and allergic conjunctivitis might be there is muscular problem and you have to gofor ocular muscle function test due to inflammatory condition you are squinting consult eye doctor for complete checkup examination of conjuctiva and cornea with fundus examination. refraction may be done to detect any error and if detected then due corection should be taken. clean the eye lid with sterile swab and apply neosporine eye ointment.can apply cromal eye drop three times daily.
