What Causes Frequent Twitching Of Eye After Cataract Surgery?

Hi, I had cataract surgery in left eye in early November and in the right eye in early December (2013). Both eyes were a laser procedure with toric lens implants. For the past two weeks I've experienced twitching in the eyelid of the right eye - even at night with the eye closed. It appears to be more frequent in the last few days. Could the twitching be related to the surgery?

Hello
Welcome to Health care Magic.

I reviewed your history.
It seems from the history that you are having twitching of the eyelids.
This is not related to cataract surgery.
This occurs usually because of stress, increased intake of caffeine containing drinks, deficiency of essential vitamins and nutrients.....

Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for confirmation of diagnosis and treatment accordingly.

Hope this is helpful to you.
Do write back to me for further questions.

Thank you
