What Causes Frequent Urination After Eating Sugar In Children?

My 11 yeal old son is a very fussy eater and tends to eat to much sugar foods. We have noticed lately he is peeing alot more then he should. For example he had a glass of ice tea and was peeing about every 5 mins I m concerned he is going to get or has diabeties. we have now been really strick with his diet and not allowing him to have sugaring drinks. and have notice a difference. He has been to the doctor and was tested but everything was fine why does he react like this to sugar? or what she we be watching for

Hi,

Excess of mucus in stools indicates irritation of bowels due to infection or irritation.This brings about fatigue no doubt. Mucus with blood &colicky pain in abdomen are characteristic of amoebiasis. Taking light diet, sufficient boiled water with ORS powder helps in combating fatigue&dehydration.

Over the counter tab. Metrogyl 200mg three times helps to get rid of amoebae. If there is superimposed bacterial infection, you won't be relieved. No relief in 2 days demands addition of antibiotic. Please consult your physician in such a case.
