What Causes Frequent Urination After Having An Ice Cream?

If I eat ice cream before bed I seem to be up urinating frequently. At night I take meds -- cholesterol, baby aspirin, stool softener. By day I take Naproxen as needed, letrozole, thyroid, and bp meds. My blood sugars always are normal when checked at the doctor s. Thanks anyway, but I cannot pay for the answer. A fine online tool, though. Many blessings to you all.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Ice cream and frequent urination are not related directly. The cause of frequent urination in your case might be due to your medications for blood pressure which might contain a diuretic which causes frequent urination. The other reason might be urinary tract infection for frequent urination.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
