What Causes Frequent Urination After Having Intercourse?
I have just recently got out of a UTI and I took antibiotics for it and I just finished them about a week ago or so... I just had kntercourse yesterday after my period and today I find myself irritated with the same symptoms but only this time I have to pee ever couple of minutes but it is not little drops its a lot at a time... not sure what it is
It's quite normal to have the sensation of urination and a bigger amount of urine after intercourse. It's advisable to urinate after the intercourse to prevent UTI.
But if you have other symptoms like frequent urination every day, burn sensation, pain during urinating, etc, it indicates a recurrent UTI. Has your partner been treated for the UTI too? Because he may have UTI and you don't know, so your infection is back. Just to be sure you both have to do urine analysis, if you have any infections its advisable to take medications together.
