What Causes Frequent Urination After Taking Flomax?
My Doctor prescribed for me flomax since I was urinating often due to enlarged prostate. But after taking the medicine for a week, I have more urge to urinate, now I have urge almost all the times and once I go not much urine comes out. what is your opinion, mainly can this medicine backfire in a way. thank you

Hello,
Flomax is having fenasteride. It is used for mild BPH (benign prostatic hypertrophy).So this drug won't be effective if your BPH is moderate or severe.Surgery is the only option in such cases.
So you might be having moderate or severe BPH which needs surgery for correction.This is the reason why Flomax is not helping you.
