What Causes Frequent Urination And Back Pain?

well I pee like every 2 hours or sooner and the time I have the pain after I pee is at night. I go back to bed and I am in awful pain in my back and stomach. A heating pad helps and the pain leaves after 10 minutes or so. not more then 15 minutes. this happens three times during the night.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Frequent urination and back pain, especially after urination, may indicate a urinary tract infection (UTI) or bladder infection. The pain in your back and stomach may be due to the infection spreading to your kidneys. It's important to see a healthcare provider for an evaluation and possible testing, such as a urine culture, to determine if you have a UTI or other underlying condition causing your symptoms. Treatment may include antibiotics, pain relief, and fluid intake.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. H. Kay, General & Family Physician
