What Causes Frequent Urination And Bowel Movements After A Pelvic Injury?

Fractured my pelvis in three places a couple of months ago. Several weeks ago started frequent urination and bowel movements. Just urinated four times in past hour--it is getting worse. Orthopedic surgeon told me not to worry unless I became incontinent. Have appointment with gp to take glucose tolerance blood test. Is this the right thingto do?

Hi,

Yes undergo a blood sugar test and also it may be due to infection in the tract which is causing frequency but it is good that you have not developed an incontinence.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
