What Causes Frequent Urination And Headaches?

Hi. The last few days Iv have been urinaring a lot more than usual, also head aches and heart burn all through out the day, also cramps on one side which is causing some discomfort. I have been to the doctors and I have no infections. I took a pregnancy test a few weeks ago and was negative. What could it be? Thanks

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

If a pregnancy test and urinalysis result negative (normal), then very likely the symptoms are not related to these. On the other hand, because you had frequent urination only recently and the pregnancy test was done weeks ago, I would recommend you to repeat the pregnancy test, especially if your periods are not regular.

Another possible cause of your symptoms if you are not pregnant and are not having urinary infection, is anxiety and rarely diabetes may cause this as well.

I hope this answers your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General & Family Physician
