What Causes Frequent Urination And Heart Burn While Taking Clindamycin?
Husband is taking clindamycin for a gum infection. went to walk in and saw a PA. he is on day 8. peeing like a crazy man and very persistent heart burn each time he takes a pill (with food). should he call his doctor tomorrow or just finish the meds - his mouth feels better. He is an otherwise healthy 58 yr old.

He should call his doctor if he has no previous history of increased frequency of urination.
Clindamycin is not associated with an increased frequency of urination so it is not likely related.
His doctor would likely consider a urine analysis to rule out infection.
