What Causes Frequent Urination And Tingling Urethra Post Intake Of Chantix?
I m a long time smoker. I used Chantix before in the past and quit for 3 years. I am back on Chantix and have notice a strong smell coming from my urine and also have noticed frequent urination during the night. I was also feeling a tingling sensation in my urethra when urinating. These symptoms came on within a week of starting Chantix and I don t recall these symptoms last time. Is this a side effect of an infection? Thank you

I really appreciate your concern, given symptoms may be due to drug or it ay be due to infection, but as a matter of fact it may be nothing and nonspecific, why not to quit the drug again and then you may not be having this symptoms again hope this information helps.
