General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms can be related to a urinary tract infection. These types of infection are very common during diabetes. I recommend to do a urine test for further evaluation. Meanwhile, I suggest using a spasmolytic such as Buscopan to relieve the symptoms. It does not have any side effects. I also suggest to avoid food that have acidity which can trigger the bladder.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
