What Causes Frequent Urination Post Hernia Repair Surgery?
i had a hernia operation in june of last year using mesh every now and again since i have had problems with my prostate but just recently it has got worse waking up in the middle of the night with what i call a pee hard on but when i get to the toilet very little urine appears could you help please

From history it seems that your problem might be due to enlarged prostate.
Hernia repair might not be having any connection with this problem.
Due to enlarged prostate there is more frequency at night and while passing urine you feel more strain due to enlarge prostate.
And there is always residual urine left after passing urine.
Consult Urologist and get examined and investigated like ultra sound and routine urine check up.
Ok and take care.
