What Causes Frequent Urination While On Depakote, Lithium And Trazodone?
my daughter prescribed Invega, Depakote, Lithium and Trazodone. She cannot sit still more than a minute, she cannot stand still, she cannot lay down and rest peacefully. She has to move constantly and it makes her suffer. Her eyes glassy, she is walking and her eyes do not move, like frozen. Her psychiatrist refused to adjust medication and my daughter suffer 24/7. She is dysfunctional and disoriented. She gained weight and got problem urinating every hour. More than three times gets up at night.
Based on the history given, your daughter seems to be suffering from the side effects of Lithium like frequent urination, weight gain, tremors, impaired memory, and disorientation.
Her treating doctor needs to be consulted to adjust the dose of Lithium and to prescribe an addition medication for the troublesome tremors or to prescribe an alternate effective medication for her bipolar disorder.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali
