What Causes Frequent Urination While On Potassium CL Tablets?

I have been taking Potassium CL TB 10MEQ Cr Wm for years for years. However, I have increased urination during the night and days. I have tried Prostate meds, no help. Blood test has revealed there is no sign of diabetes. My process of elimination suggests the Potassium might be the cause. I have decided to reduce the Potassium tabs. Instead of daily dose, I have gone to twice a week for now. What interval is acceptable? I still getting substantial potassium from food, such as potatoes and lots of yogurt. Sorry that it took so long to type.

Hi,

You need to check your potassium levels and I would like to know the reason you are taking potassium regularly. If your potassium levels are normal then you can taper off your dose of potassium. Secondly get your urine routine examination to rule out any urinary tract levels and prostate examination as well.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Regards,
