What Causes Frequent Urination While Recovering From Chicken Pox?

Hi Iam around 27 and 70 kgs and 168cm. I was recently affected by chicken pox. Now the spots has been healing rapidly. Already 15 days gone. Now I have no fever. Im feeling good. The only problem is frequent urination in the morning. I tend to urinate everytime. Is it okay during chicken pox or should i take medicine or treatement separately for this?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and welcome.

If the frequent urination is only during the morning then this may not be an infection, but I would either way first recommend a urine analysis and only then elaborate management. But for now you have to drink plenty of water and you could initiate potassium chloride syrup if available (e.g. POTKLOR).

Best wishes.
