What Causes Frequent Urination With Burning Sensation?
Hi...I am urinating frequently with mild burning sensation. This is on for couple of days. I have been prescribed cites Ka which I am supposed to start after giving my urine for culture sensitivity. I am also running mild fever so antibiotics and CFO in have been prescribed. Let me know if this is correct.
Urinary tract infection can present with symptoms like burning micturition, increased frequency of micturition, pain during micturition, etc. Treatment prescribed to you is according to protocol. After giving culture and sensitivity you can take sup. Citralka as prescribed by your doctor, which will help in relieving the burning sensation. Local and systemic antibiotics will help in curing the infection.
Anti-pyretic drugs night acetaminophen can help in decreasing the fever. Along with these, general measure like taking plenty of fluids like 3 to 4 liters of water per day, avoiding holding the urine for long periods, etc. can help in relieving the symptoms.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
