What Causes Frequent Urination With Controlled Diabetes When Taking Udiliv For Fatty Liver?
I have been advised udi Liv 150 twice a day for a fatty liver grade ii condition.I am 44 yrs old non alcoholic on a healthy diet(protein rich fibrous).I am a diabetic since four years.mild elevation in BP(90/140).Other medicines I am taking are Tri-Glimisave(2 Mg twice a day for sugar),Losa Kind H for BP(once a day).Ecospirin 75 once a day.Zyloric(for elevation in uric acid). Of-late I am suffering from very frequent urination by night and absolutely dry mouth.I got the sugar checked.its under contrl(fasting 90.PP 128, 3 months average sugar level within normal limits). Is this condition because of any medicines that I am taking?
Hi, There are two explanations for your urine frequency 1. The drug losakind H contains hydrochlorothiazide, which is a diuretic whose job is to excrete urine and electrolytes. This may cause sub clinical dehydration and dryness of tongue. 2. Diabetics are prone for urine infections, which may cause increased urine 3. urinary bladder may be directly involved in diabtetes (diabetic cystopathy) which can cause polyuria. 1st one is more likely in your case. you may ask your doctor for a change of medication. hope i was of some help.
