Understanding your concern. As per your query your daughter have symptoms of frequent vomiting which seems to be due to electrolyte imbalance in body due to viral infection leading to acute gastroenteritis. Need not to worry. Avoid hot, sharp and spicy food. You can take banana on daily basis and light food. I would suggest you to start treatment with combination of fluoroquinolones and ornidazole. You should get intravenous fluid administration as well. Drink plenty of fluids to rehydrate yourself. Visit gastroenterologist once and get it examined and start treatment after prescription. You should get barium meal study done if symptoms exaggerating. You should avoid taking dairy products in excess.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
