What Causes Frequent Vomiting In An Infant?

My baby us 6 months old.. for past one week he keeps on vomiting very frequently.. He pukes even after the mother feed..just a week back i started giving him solid foods.. And at times i give him enfamil formula feed also.. am so much worried about his health. . Can you please help me what kind of foods can be given to him and how many times a day.. also may i know the reason for his vomiting.. kindly help me please

Dear thanks for the question.

I share your concerns. Cause of vomiting in your baby is related to food. Baby should not be given solid food to start with. Baby's stomach is not ready to accept solids. Infections due to external food (earlier baby was taking mother milk only) is another possiwillty antacids (digene syrup) will relive him from this problem.

You should feed your baby in following ways
Semi liquid feeds like soup, fresh fruit juices for 2 months till 8 months.
Semi solids like crushed potatoes, banana, dalia (boiled wheat grains in milk) till one year.
At 12 months baby can be given what adult members are eating in family (less spicy)
