General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

If this has to pass it would not have lasted for 3 days, hence needs to have a proper clinical evaluation, examination and relevant investigations:
MRI of mastoids and brain.
MRI of cervical spine if cervical spondylitis is suspected as a cause.
To watch for hypertension.
To watch for otogenic cause wherein the semicircular canals are involved causing imbalance with each other.
Nausea and vomiting is always secondary to vertigo that is dizziness hence can be treated symptomatically.
You will need to following:
Opinion of an ENT Specialist and Neurologist.
Symptomatic medications.
Full rest is very much needed.
Further management as advised by the Specialists.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T Chandrakant, ENT & General Surgeon
