What Causes Frequent Vomiting?

my son is 3 months old and has been vomiting more then normal. It seems to be getting worse everyday and is projectile. He started doing it april 3rd and brought him to the dr. she says that he is fine as long as he has 3 wet diapers a day, but it has gotten worse and he is starting to be fussy. What can I do?
