What Causes Fresh Blood From Toe After Surgery?

I had ingrown toenail removal surgery about 4 days ago. I have been taking my antibiotic and soaking in epson salt as advised, but am still getting fresh blood coming from the toe. Is this normal? Its not a lot of blood, its just always about a dime size on the bandaid.
