What Causes Fullness In The Ears Accompanied By Dizziness?

Good Afternoon, Since Tuesday I have had a fullness in both ears which has caused some dizziness and when talking or listening to others the words are muffled to me. I went to the Doctor which feels i have an inner ear concern and prescribed some prednisone to take I am on my 2nd day with no relief. I have had over 25 years ago a severe case of Meniere s which the end result was i lost hearing in that ear but great since then. (52 year old male no health concerns at all) Thanks Rich

Hello,

It may be due to a bilateral middle ear infection or bilateral Eustachian tube block. The cause is an infection like pharyngitis or allergy. So use water vapor inhalation and saltwater gargling thrice a day for five days. Avoid smoking and alcohol. Avoid cool water and cool environment.

Use a tablet alday dc twice a day for five days. Use antibiotics under your doctor guidance. If symptoms not improved, please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
