What Causes Gagging While Smoking In Women?
Hi I have been having this problem for awhile now, I've been gagging an sometimes throw up when I smoke a cigarette in the morning. I am a female an sexually active, an this has been going on for about a month now. I just wanted to know what might that mean?

It appears that nicotine and the smoke from the cigarette is irritating the mucosal lining of your throat. This can cause both gagging and vomiting. It is the same as what happens when the back of the mouth is touched, triggering the gag reflex. Sometimes people become hypersensitive to the gag reflex and even the slightest irritation can trigger it. If your unwilling to quit smoking, try using an e-cigarette. It may solve your problem as it is smoke free.
