What Causes Garlic Smell On Body And Mouth?

My husband has not eaten garlic, but his breath and his body smells just like he has eaten it. It even consumes the complete room. He brushes his teeth but it only takes it away for a few minutes.I have searched the internet and I can't find anything. Please help

Garlic breath is attributed to allyl methyl sulfide, a product of the breakdown of garlic, which unsurprisingly has an odor described as garlic-like. Eating meat & fish can also lend your breath a formidable scent. This could be a reason.
