Male, 75 years old, pain in right lower abdomen; gassy, every time passes gas, some fecal matter is expelled. Trip to ER 2 weeks ago had a CT, WBC and Hemoglobin tested. Could find nothing. Has COPD. Symptoms are somewhat alleviated by lying down. Has back pain

Your symptoms seem to be related to abdominal bloating.

I suggest using simethicone medication.
