What Causes Giddiness And Fainting?

hi..I am a diabetic for the past 4 years (now my age is 39 years) and taking Thyronorm 50mg as well..For diabetis Am taking Semireclimate 500mg for two times a day..My sugar levels are under fair control of HBA1C at 7.1%. I was taking Thyronorm for the past 7 months and the TSH levels are perfectly in spec.



But for the past 1 month, Am facing giddiness and faint like feeling suddenly in the evening in a week's interval..When I have some chocolates, its getting normal..Whether the Thyronorm has the side effects in terms fluctuating sugar levels.



I have tested for liver, eye, kidney, ECG and found to be normal.



Plz advise..

Hello,
THYRONORM doesn't result in fluctuation of blood sugar levels.
Your low blood sugar levels can occur because of either missed food or less food or may be development of diabetic nephropathy.
Since you have got tested your kidneys and eyes,the chances of diabetic nephropathy are ruled out.
Your dizziness n the evening could be due to fluctuation in blood pressure also.
Get our blood pressure and blood sugar levels recorded in the evening.
