What Causes Goiter After Taking Methimazole?
I got most of my thyroid out with surgery in 1992. On meds for hypothyroidism for 15 years, then off meds for 2-3 years as it was producing the hormone. Now, have been on methemazole since and have a goiter growing, why? when I don t have a whole thyroid?

Based on the history you seemed to have had partial removal of thyroid gland following which you were put on medicine for hypothyroidism.
Now you seem to have developed recurrent hyperthyroidism for which your doctor has prescribed methimazole.
