What Causes Goose Bumps On Breast Where Lumpectomy Was Performed?

>My name is Diana, I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2008. Yesterday, on the same breast of the cancer, I felt my aerola, and it feels hard. I get lots of goose bumps and then it feels hard. This is the same breast of the 2008 lumpectomy. Also, the lightest touch, it gets goosebumps on the nipple and I feel it very hard. Is this a cause of concern?

welcome to Health care magic.
1.Yes it is to concern.
2.It look like signs of recurrence unless until proven with previous history of breast cancer.
3.Take an appointment with your doctor as soon as possible.
4.A followup ultrasound scan need to be done to see what kind of the lesion are they and axillary lymph nodal condition.
5.After scan with a FNAC ( fine needle aspiration biopsy) may need to get operated if necessary.
6.Hope it helps.
