Hi,

The gradual decrease in the level of hearing can be caused by various factors, including age-related hearing loss, exposure to loud noise, ear infections, ear wax buildup, certain medications, and underlying medical conditions such as Meniere's disease, which you have been diagnosed with. In Meniere's disease, the inner ear is affected, leading to vertigo, tinnitus (ringing in the ears), and hearing loss.

The motor-like sound you hear in your head may be a symptom of tinnitus, which can be associated with hearing loss. It is important to see your doctor or an audiologist for a thorough evaluation of your hearing loss and other symptoms. They may recommend further tests such as a hearing test or MRI to determine the cause of your symptoms and develop a treatment plan to manage your condition.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Hi,

The gradual decrease in hearing can be caused by several factors including aging, exposure to loud noise, genetics, certain medications, and medical conditions such as Meniere's disease, otosclerosis, and acoustic neuroma. In your case, since you already have a history of Meniere's disease, it is possible that the gradual decrease in hearing and motor-like sound in your head could be related to that condition.

Meniere's disease is a disorder of the inner ear that can cause hearing loss, tinnitus (ringing in the ear), vertigo (dizziness), and a feeling of fullness in the ear. It is important to have your hearing evaluated by an audiologist or ear, nose, and throat (ENT) specialist to determine the cause of your symptoms and develop an appropriate treatment plan. Treatment options for Meniere's disease may include medications, dietary changes, and/or surgical interventions, depending on the severity of your symptoms.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
