What Causes Gradually Increasing Eye Sight?

Sir, my daughter is 14 yr old and the power of her eyes is increasing day by day. She started wearing glass for last 3 yrs.Initially the power was -1. 25 but today the power has increased in left eye -4 from -2.75 and right -2.75 from -2.25. Pl advice. Sanoj YYYY@YYYY

Hello
It seems from the history that your daughter is wearing glasses from the age of three years. Now she is 14 years old and she is having refractive error of -4 and -2.75.
It is common to have increase in refractive error in children with the growth of the eye ball.
Hence children have to be examined at least once in 1 year to look for changes in refractive error and correction of the same.
Continuous use of spectacles, diet rich in vitamin A... will prevent rapid increase of refractive error.
