General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think he is having gastroenteritis.
Don't worry about green stools with flakes because they are caused by the fast passage of food in the gastrointestinal tract.
They show indigested food particles.
He may need to do a stool sample to check for bacterial infection. Probably he may need antibiotics.
You can take simethicone for gas diahorrea and bloating.
Keep him hydrated giving lots of fluids and water. You can give him tresol to replace fluids.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
