What Causes Green Coating On Stool?

I m 25 yrs old, The last couple days I ve had stool that appears normal except that it has a lot of what looks like green algae or moss all around it. There are no changes in diet, no iron supplements, maybe only small amounts of greens, no more than normal. Most of my life have had a rather excessive amount of gas, bloating, and occasionally have random cramps or quick sharp pains in my stomach. But this is the first time I ve had this kind of stool. Just changed insurance plans, need to know if I really need to go to doctor or if I will be ok without a visit. Thank you!!
