What Causes Green Coloured Bowel Movement In An Infant?

hii.. my baby is 2 nd half month old frm last three days she is passng a green poop ...from last three days she tried to fresh properly bt she cried wth pain... I m worried bout wat to do??? m giving formula as well breastfeed now dr changes her milk aptamil to pre nan with iron..is dis the reason of green poop plz help me out

After going through your query I understand your concern.

I would like to tell you that your baby might have glucose-glactose intolerance that is why she has abdominal pain and you were advised to switch pre nan from aptamil. And yes, iron supplements do cause dark green or black color stool that need not to worry about.
