Hi, I had a wisdom tooth extraction on the right side together with a cyst removal roughly 3 weeks ago. The pain got better each day and by now there is almost no discomfort. However, roughly a week ago, I started having a weird taste in mouth. I thought it was blood initially blood but there was nothing in my saliva after spitting out. Yesterday night however, I noticed it had a very very pale green tinge. This morning, my first spit was rather green in colour. Please advice if this is something to be concerned about. Thank you so much.
HI. Read the history carefully. The green color is ominous of an infection of gram negative category and needs intensive antibiotic therapy to avoid complications. Consult a Dentist / Doctor , you may need to undergo few tests and start the proper therapy ASAP. This will get OK with treatment .
