What Causes Green Discharge In Men?

Hi, I m wondering if you could help me with a personal problem. I have been noticing some green stains on my boyfriend s underwear.He refuses to go to the hospital and get it tested, so I have taken it upon myself to find out what it could be. He isn t in any pain or anything. And I read that it happens to males once a month for 3 hours. Is this true or does this mean there is something wrong with him?

It has to be known whether there is any penile discharge? Is there any associated itching and / or pain? In case, there is penile discharge, it needs to be examined micro-biologically to look for evidence of infection.
