Thanks for raising your concern on this platform and following is symptomwise approach according to his age:
1. Neonatal vomiting: it could be overfeeding or faulty feeding (possible reason of feeling happy after vomiting)
. Give Burps to the baby, by holding the baby in upright position
. Avoid overfeeding
. Give sugar water,between milk feeds
. Gripe water 1/2 tsf thrice daily and syrup
perinorm 10 drops thrice.
PS. If vomiting is forceful & projectile, or if baby not gaining weight, suspect congenital
hypertrophic pyloric stenosis and refer to a Paediatrican or for second opinion
2. Since infant intestine Is not fully matured thus the bile is not mixing with the stool and as such is passing as green coloured.
. Clean your nipples before breast feeding
. After every motion,clean & dry the buttocks and apply talcum powder.
. Breast feeding can be started after 1 day, but withold if it triggers
loose motion again.
. Give orolyte (
ORS) which is the most important part of treatment than drugs and apart from that give ricr,ganji,buttermilk, biscuits,banana,apple.
3. Since he is already under child specialist supervision thus remain under regular guidance.
