What Causes Green Vomit And Loss Of Weight While Suffering From Renal Disease?

My Dad is 80 and has a heart condition, 3 stage renal disease, just had Pleurodesis in Feb and was doing great, He had 1 dialysis treatment at that time. Now past month my dad has been vomiting green, loss of taste for food, has the runs constantly and is losing lot s weight quickly. No one can find a reason why. Please if you have any ideas please give me a clue. I m in disabled NYC and he is in Texas. can u help me? YYYY@YYYY

This is a Biliary Vomitus and may be due to bile reflux. What you need is, fix his appointment with a Gastroentrologist and there is no way, the doctor may not be able to diagnose the case. Gastroscopy, Abdominal Ultrasound and XRay abdomen will tell the story obviously.

Intussusception, and obstruction to the small bowel may cause the bilious vomiting.
