What Causes Greenish Diarrhea While On Clavam For Cold And Cough In Infants?
Hello Doctor, Our baby is 3 months old, He is having loose motion for the past 2 days (Yellowish/ Greenish & watery). We are giving breast feeding and Lactogen-1 bottle feeding to the baby. Till today we continued antibiotic (Clavam) medicine suggested by our doctor for cough and cold. Nebulisation for 3 days. But now he has loose motion. We are worried, please let us know what can be done to stop loose motion. Baby is active and normal. No other issues like fever, vomiting etc.Please reply.Ram

Clavam syrup contains amoycillin which causes disbiosis by killing normal enzyme flora so it always better to combine clavam with sporlac here bsby has green watery diarrhea .along with disbiosis infection has set in treatment is sporlac one third tea spoon four hourly dependal m syrup onethird tea spoon six hourly ors plenty of fluids
