Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
On Friday I first noticed a discharge on a panty liner. Because of where it was I thought it must of been from my clitoris, but, I needed to get my husband to check for me as I am a stroke survivor, and it is too difficult for me to do this myself. He checked. And there was quite a bit of greenish discharge all around the clitoris. I cleaned myself up and the next day the discharge was there again.

General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
HI, I understand your concern. Clitoris is very delicate part of genitals , rich in blood & nerve supply. So it's easily hurt due to simple things like un hygiene ( daily cleanliness.. which might have been ignored due to your illness) / itching/ friction leading to infection. The green discharge you have seems to be due to infection, Local examination by a gynecologist & microscopic examination of the discharge.. would find exact causative organism. A specific treatment offered after that would help.( which will include suitable antibiotics, anti inflammatory drug as per need along with local ointment. Treatment is sometimes given to both sex partners. On personal level cleaning with warm water/ avoid sex till cured would help. Thanks.
