Hello,

You are having greyish half circle on your iris, you have history of myopia. Grey half circles around your cornea or iris are deposits of cholesterol and fat. It occurs without predisposing systemic diseases and it may cause peripheral opacity. You are suggested to get clinically examined by an Eye Specialist. Get blood tests, lipid function tests, liver function tests, angiogram of blood vessels to rule out atherosclerosis, etc.

You will be treated accordingly. If obese, maintain healthy weight, cut on trans fat, carbohydrates, full fat dairy products, red meat, etc. Prefer to take home made food over packaged food. Boiled food over oily food. Your symptom does not necessarily mean that you have liver problems or high cholesterol levels. One of the causes of an age-related arcus senilis is dilation of the blood vessels in the eyes, which allows cholesterol and other fats to enter the cornea to be visible to the naked eye.

But in case your lipid profile or liver function tests are not normal, you will be treated accordingly. You may be referred to a Cardiologist if you have high cholesterol or triglyceride for cardiac function tests. No worries it can be controlled with exercises and balanced home made diet. Do not stress. Stay cheerful.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
