What Causes Grey Discoloration Of Skin Around A Wound?
I scraped Myles just under gene from softball after I got hm like an hr later I rinsed it off with water and softly scuba with wash cloth then poured peroxide on it. Next day I put neasporin on and cleaned with antibiotic soap and water and just have been putting neasporin on. Today is day 3 and the outer has scabed up but the inner area has a grayish yellow film like a soft scabe.is this normal
* When antibiotic is applied to wound surrounding area, it is the combination of wound exudate, ointment contents as polymyxin, neomycin, body perspiration which gives you gray discoloration of the skin.
* Kindly consult your doc for further guidelines to any alterations in the dressing material usage with or without antibiotics to heal the wound faster pace.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
