What Causes Grey Tissue Clump On First Day Of Periods?

I passed a Grey/white solid tissue clump the first day of my period. No unusual amount of cramping or pain. It was about the size of a silver dollar. I am currently on seasonle birth control and have a history of endomitriosis. I am 28 5'4" and 135 lb
