What Causes Groin Area Pain?

I have pains in my groin area for about a week now but no blood when l pass urine?I am forty two years old ,five foot ten inches tall and eighty eight kilos.I have no medical condition apart from the occasional malaria.I do competitive walking three times a week over a distance of seven kilometres a session.
