What Causes Groin Pain After Endovenous Ablation Of The Saphenous Veins?

Hi.My daughter had a bilateral endogenous ablation to the saphenous vein two weeks ago. Wearing compression stockings and back to normal routine. Experiencing pain in her groin below left hip.Is this a concern for a blood clot or normal pain from healing?

Ophthalmologist 's  Response
Hello,

It could be either dear or it could be a referred pain from some other structure. She needs to see her surgeon for the same for a proper examination.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Harshita, Ophthalmologist
