Chest pain under left armpit lasting anywhere from 15 seconds to 1 min long. Rolling over onto left side makes pain increase considerably! Pains have been once a week for a year... person turned 17 in Oct. and is 6'3'' Male weight of 155. Growing pains or something more to be concerned with?
Hi,welcome to HCM. These chest pains are unlikely to be related to any cardiac pathology considering your age.in all cases an ECG and a screening ECHO will be useful to rule out cardiac causes. An xray chest will also help.These pains are usually growth related.Consider using analgesics like diclofenac sodium 100mg Sr,in consultation with your primary care physician. thank you
