I need some help, I am 22 years old and I got my ears pierced at age 18, one year later I developed ear lobe nodules which are consistently getting bigger to the point where I cannot sleep on my sides. I had them surgically removed twice, and they came back bigger. Then I had biweekly Hydrocortisone injection to my earlobes. At first they appeared to be shrinking in size, and then they started getting better. What can I do, I look like a freak?
Hi. This is called chondroma. There is no definite treatment for this condition. Whatever treatment you have taken, surgery undergone are to the point. Continue hydrocortisone injection. Get this operated again by a Surgeon who is ready to keep a rim of it , it may at least stop growing
