What Causes Growing Small Bumps On The Hands And Elbows Leaving Behind Scars?

Small bumps developed on right hand and elbow. Didn t think much about it but after quite awhile it went away and reappeared on my left hand and elbow. Bumps, about the size of a mosquito bite, seem to dry up and get a dead center leaving a scar. I did have Shingles about two years ago but these don t appear to be the same.These are somewhat painful when bumped.

Hi.This is not shingle ( herpes zoster)... as it is not relapsing in general.It may be pyoderma.Take a short course of antibiotic. Apply antibiotic cream. Improve immunity by nutritious diet,exercise and immunomodulator.Hope this helps you.Thanks.Dr.Ilyas Patel MD
